Run a report from the dashboard

Unisphere supports the creation, management, and running of performance reports.

About this task

You can run a PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint report from a performance dashboard.

Alternatively, you can run a customized Systems Overview Report, which is based on the performance dashboards and the performance heatmap.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system.
  2. Click Performance > Dashboards.
  3. Open an existing dashboard or create one.
  4. To run the report, click and do one of the following:
    • Select Run report_type Report now.
    • Select Run report_type Report now - with data.
    • Select Run report_type Systems Overview Report now.
      In the Choose Systems Overview Report Categories dialog, select the categories that you want to include in the Systems Overview Report. The following categories are available:
      • System - (mandatory)
      • Storage Group
      • Host
      • Storage Container
      • Port Group
      • FE Director
      • RDF Director
      • Disk Group
      • Disk Technology
      • External Director
      • Heatmap

    The report file format, report_type, can be PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint, depending on the configured report output.

    The report is downloaded in the browser.
